The board of directors of Al-Taawoun FC, chaired by Mr. Badr bin Hassan Al-Ghannam, has completed the procedures for signing Ivorian player Parfait Guiagon, who joins the first team as part of the club's reinforcements for the new sporting season
The player's contract with Al-Taawoun runs for three seasons, with an option to renew for an additional season, as part of the club's effort to strengthen the squad with players capable of adding more quality and effectiveness in the coming competitions
Guiagon is 25 years old and plays as a winger, with distinguished attacking qualities, especially in dribbling, chance creation and movement in the attacking third
The player recorded notable numbers in his recent career, playing 108 matches in which he contributed to 44 goals, having scored 26 goals and provided 18 assists for his teammates
Guiagon also completed 223 successful dribbles, along with 42 successful crosses, and created 20 clear scoring chances, figures that reflect his ability in one-on-one situations and in creating attacking threat
The player stood out notably during his time in the Belgian league, and appeared among the top players in terms of dribbling, drawing on his speed, skill and ability to get past opponents and create space
For his part, Parfait Guiagon expressed his happiness at joining the Wolves of Asia, affirming his eagerness to deliver his best levels in the Al-Taawoun shirt and to contribute with his teammates to achieving the club's ambitions and goals in the coming period
